Employment is one of the largest challenges facing Veterans with disabilities. DVARC and VA North Texas Health Care System are committed to helping Veterans join the workforce and support their families. Some of our projects are below.
About Face Project
Trained Vocational staff and employers collaborate with Veterans with felony histories and mental illness to return these Veterans to the workforce. This study is funded by VA's Rehabilitation Research and Development service and the Meadows Foundation

VIP-STAR
This is a multisite VA study. Trained vocational staff and employers collaborate with Veterans with PTSD to return these Veterans to the workforce. This study is funded by the VA's Cooperative Studies Program.
SCI-VIP Promote
This is a multisite VA. Trained Vocational staff and employers to collaborate with Veterans with spinal cord injuries to return these Veterans to the workforce. This study is funded by the VA's Cooperative Studies Program.

About Face Online Program
This project is developing online vocational materials to be used by Veterans who are vulnerable to employment difficulties (e.g. rural Veterans, homeless Veterans, previously incarcerated Veterans). It is funded by VA's Rehabilitation Research and Development service and the Meadows Foundation.
